Annual General Meeting 2021Dear STAR members, A few weeks ago, I sent you a “save the date” email for our 2021 Annual General Meeting. This is your first reminder and some important papers you need as members for the meeting. The Annual Report isn’t finished yet, but we will send it to you once it’s ready. Here’s what you need to know about the where and when. When: noon-1pm, Wednesday 25th November We’ve decided to stick with Zoom this year because there are still restrictions in place which makes access to Ross House a bit tricky. Hopefully we will all be together in person next year.
Here are all the documents you need
All Committee positions are vacant every year, so there will be an election. Please consider if you would like to nominate, or if there’s someone you would like to nominate. You can nominate yourself or someone else during the meeting if you like. Remember if you want to nominate someone it’s a good idea to check with them first! If you can’t be at the meeting, you can ask another member who is going to be there if they can be your PROXY – that means they can vote as if you were there. A final point – our Constitution says you must be up to date with your fees to be able to vote (in person or by proxy) and stand for Committee. You can still attend the meeting if you haven’t paid, but you won’t be able to vote. We are looking forward to seeing you on Zoom on Wednesday 24th November at midday. If you need technical help or advice on how to join the meeting, please email us on info@starvictoria.org.au or call 03 9650 2730 – remember the office hours are 9.30am to 4pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
